This is personalised guidance based on where you are and what you are working through. Whether you are asking, How do I build my self-esteem? How can I become more confident? How do I know my worth? How do I find my purpose? How do I stop comparing myself to other people? How do I set better boundaries? or simply, What should I do next?, coaching can help you explore those questions and turn reflection into action. The goal is not to tell you who to become. It is to help you better understand yourself, recognise your worth, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

What Is Self-Esteem?

Think about a mirror. A mirror shows you what you look like, but it does not tell you what you are worth.

Self-esteem is a little like the mirror you carry inside you. It is the way you see yourself, the value you place on yourself, and what you believe about what you are capable of. Sometimes that inner mirror becomes distorted. You may look at another woman and think, “She is prettier than I am. She is more successful than I am. She has it more together than I do.” You may know you have abilities and still doubt yourself. You may want more for your life but keep talking yourself out of going after it.

That is why low self-esteem is not always about not loving yourself. Sometimes it is about not believing in yourself. The good news is that the way you see yourself can change.

What happened to you may have influenced your view of yourself, but it does not have to be the final word. Before you can build healthier self-esteem, you have to understand the story you have been telling yourself about who you are.

What Caused my Self-Esteem to Break?

Think about a mirror with a crack in it. The crack does not change the person standing in front of the mirror, but it can change what she sees when she looks at herself.

Self-esteem can work the same way. Rejection, criticism, comparison, bullying, difficult relationships, painful experiences, and words spoken over you can leave cracks in the way you see yourself.

Sometimes it is not one major experience that breaks your self-esteem. It can be years of little moments that slowly teach you, “I’m not good enough. I’m not beautiful enough. I’m not capable enough.” Eventually, you may begin to believe those messages without realizing where they came from.

But here is the part I want you to remember: what happened to you may have influenced how you see yourself, but it does not have to determine who you become. Before you can rebuild your self-esteem, you have to understand what caused it to break.

Can I love myself and still struggle with low self-esteem?

You can know that you are valuable and still compare yourself to another woman.

You can love who you are and still question whether you are good enough, capable enough, attractive enough, or deserving enough.

Sometimes the issue isn’t that you don’t love yourself; it’s that you don’t fully believe in yourself – there is a difference. Learning that difference can help you understand what really needs to change.
